Why St. Barbara Leadership Institution?

St. Barbara Leadership was named after the great Barbara Thomas, Mother of Phyllis Thomas the founder.  Mrs. B. Thomas was nothing short of a great woman of God who believed in God's word and education.  It is with this spirit that Phyllis prides the growth and future of S.B.L.I.

Our focus is excellence in academics and the development of student leaders, with a Christian foundation. Because of this, SBLI students have
historically averaged above national norms on standardized tests. Our program is designed to facilitate growth in and the mastering of leadership
skills, foundational and advanced academic discipline.

We, the St. Barbara Leadership Institute Board & Administration, are committed to providing a quality Christian education and endeavor to guide our students in establishing and growing in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ equipping them to serve their Lord, families and community.
